Connectivity
Connecting the new bus station with the new metro line via an interchange will improve public transport by creating seamless transfers between modes, making journeys faster and more accessible
Taylor Woodrow along with VINCI Building is constructing a state-of-the-art Interchange. With the old bus station been demolished, the new, ultra-modern Interchange will increase ridership by providing better access to jobs and leisure opportunities, reducing car dependency and traffic congestion. Additionally, the Interchange will serve as connecting portal to Dudley, supporting economic regeneration and offering passengers improved facilities and real-time information.
As part of the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension, the new Interchange will better connect people of Dudley to leisure job opportunities across the region – as well as providing a modern gateway to the town for visitors.
The new Dudley Interchange will allow passengers to switch seamlessly between buses, Sprint rapid transit vehicles and West Midlands Metro trams.
