Tottenham Court Road achieves ROSPA’s gold standard

The Tottenham Court Road team have been given a RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety.

The Taylor Woodrow BAM Nuttall team at Tottenham Court Station will need to extend the trophy cabinet, just so long as they do so in a safe and responsible manner.

Having been just been awarded a coveted RoSPA Gold Award for occupational health and safety, that really shouldn’t be a problem.

RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) awards are highly regarded across all industries and receiving this accolade is a huge achievement for the joint venture team.

Previous awards for the team at Tottenham Court Road Upgrade team include the ICE London Civil Engineering Award for Infrastructure 2013,

Due for completion in 2016, this mammoth London Underground project involves ticket hall enlargements, lifts and escalator replacements, construction of a new station concourse, as well as the new Crossrail ticket hall; all of which places the health and safety of both site workers and the public at the very heart of what is being done.
