Colm Hanlon is the Winner of Taylor Woodrow's 100 Years of Giving Award

The 100 Years of Giving award recognises the fantastic efforts being made across the business to give back to the community through the time and investment that is devoted to charity, fundraising and supporting local communities.

Congratulations to Colm Hanlon who has been selected as the final winner of the 100 Years of Giving award. Colm helped to organise a light display in Maybank, Shinefield. The light show display began in 2017 and has grown into an amazing annual community Christmas display. Not only are there lights on the houses, but a communal Christmas Tree decorated by the residents and unique displays in each front garden as well. On the last weekend of November, the Christmas Committee put up the top lights on all of the houses. The volunteers worked through rain, sleet and snow to install the lights on 23 houses in the area, which took them three days to complete.

This year the residents have decided to dedicate the lights to two charities Epilepsy Action and Macmillan Cancer Support who have helped two members of the Maybank Community. They have raised over 2,100 so far which is amazing.

Colm has received a gift voucher and a 100 charity donation as his prize, which he has chosen to split between Epilepsy Action and Macmillan Cancer Support. Well done Colm!
