100 Years of Taylor Woodrow

Founded by Frank Taylor back in 1921, this year we are celebrating 100 years of delivering complex infrastructure projects that change the face of society.

We have been instrumental in some of the most revolutionary projects that the UK has seen, from helping to construct the Mulberry Harbours which were used in France after the D-Day landings; to forming part of the TransManche Link consortium to deliver the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. A timeline of some of the key projects from our history can be found on our homepage.

Our success would not have been possible without the hard work, innovation, and dedication of our incredible team both past and present. Today our ethos of teamwork is as strong as it was under our founder, and we continue to make a valuable contribution towards the future of society through the projects that we build.

Each year we celebrate the long-serving members of our team, and in our centenary year we have a fantastic 10 team members reaching milestones between 25 and 40 years of service. This commitment is testament to the family-feel that we aim to create throughout our business, where everyone is treated with respect and valued for the contribution that they bring to the team.

Throughout the year we will be celebrating our people and our heritage. Weve kicked off the year with our 100 Years of Giving campaign which will shine a spotlight on our teams fundraising and community investment activities throughout the year. The campaign celebrates the contribution that we all make to society and gives team members the opportunity to nominate a charity of their choice to receive a donation in our monthly prize draw.

Our rich heritage has made us who we are today, and our centenary year gives us a fantastic opportunity to celebrate this whilst continuing to build our sustainable future.
