Hayley Jackson selected for ICE President's Future Leaders Scheme

Congratulations to Hayley Jackson, Site Engineer on HS2s Main Works Civils Contract for being selected for the ICE Presidents Future Leaders Scheme 2019!

Following a rigorous application and selection process, Hayley is one of six Future Leaders appointed out of nearly 100 candidates and the first Future Leader within the Taylor Woodrow business.

The scheme is designed to develop candidates both on a personal and professional level and help them to realise their leadership potential. The programme has three elements to help achieve this;
Working closely with the newly-appointed Paul Sheffield to gain insight into the way he leads ICE and helps to set the agenda for the profession
Exposure to each of the divisions of the ICE to gain a more in-depth appreciation of the institution and the way it leads the profession
Taking a leading role on one of the Institutions strategic projects for the year to contribute towards its successful delivery

Hayleys project is Future Skills and Work 4.0. It will provide her with an opportunity to benchmark how other industries are adapting to the ever-changing landscape and suggest ways in which the engineering profession can attract and recruit a wider range of skills.

Julian Gatward, Taylor Woodrow Managing Director said I am immensely proud that Hayley has been selected for this scheme, this will be a great development for Hayley both personally and professionally. I sincerely hope that Hayleys selection will inspire other young people to join our profession and the institution and I look forward to hearing updates from Hayley over the coming year."
