The Brit Oval

The Brit Oval Enlarge The Brit Oval Enlarge

Our completion of the redevelopment of the Brit Oval will ensure that it continues to be a world-class cricket venue. The new OCS Stand is designed to bring spectators closer to the game.

"I’ve been dreaming about it for six years. The finished product is hugely above my expectations. It is that sensational. Everyone who sees it says the same thing. It is a stadium fit for the 21st century, which can be used 365 days a year" - Surrey County Cricket Club Executive

Its tapered crescent shape helps amplify the crowd noise within the stadium and under its new dramatic lightweight roof. Working in a live environment all matches went ahead as planned, although the odd

cricket ball did have to be retrieved from site. Completion of the project was achieved on time and on budget not once but twice. The first phase in time for the ICC One Day International Series and England v West Indies test match.

The final phase being completed in time for the England v Bangladesh one day international and the Ashes Series. Innovative planning helped to meet these strict deadlines, and the success of the project is a testament to the teamwork of everybody involved including a visionary client, creative designers and top quality construction professionals.
