Taylor Woodrow will only trade with approved suppliers. The first step to becoming approved is to be fully registered on our database and have successfully completed SOLVE (Supplier Online Vetting Evaluation).
As we have only a limited number of projects, suppliers are promoted from Registered to Approved only when a demand for new suppliers arises. If there is a future demand for the services a new supplier provides that cannot be met buy our existing supplier base, on successful completion of SOLVE, their account may be made Approved. For this to happen a Taylor Woodrow sponsor must request your approval following an internal TW process. Being registered with us does not guarantee a contract - but it is the first step towards any potential work in the future.
It is essential you keep your company information up to date through your Supplier Online Account. Reminders will be issued when certain critical information becomes out of date, for example, Insurance information. When Insurance is allowed to lapse, we will be unable to raise further orders until your information has been updated.
Random audits will be conducted of the information entered by you though the Supplier Online Platform and you may be asked to provide paper copies to confirm the data.
Quarterly performance reports are carried out by site and the results are shared with suppliers through the Supplier Online Platform.
We also monitor performance using a system based on Weekly Performance Indicators (WPIs) which requires the Taylor Woodrow project manager on every site to report weekly on each supplier’s performance against standard criteria. The criteria is then transferred to a “Tracking Report” in which colour coding quickly highlights any under-performance or trends.
