We are delighted to be working alongside some of the world’s most talented teams to bring Gehry’s visionary scheme into reality.
As an example of art meeting engineering, it tests the boundaries of traditional thinking. We’re hoping for a good summer, so all the Park’s visitors can enjoy the Pavilion.
This year’s Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in Hyde Park, which will give England its first example of Frank Gehry’s spectacular architecture, will be constructed by Taylor Woodrow.
Lewis Parker, Head of Supply Chain commented "these challenging projects are where our integrated teams really come into their own - enabling us to hit the ground running".
Our team are working to a strict 12-week programme to deliver Gehry’s inspirational design in the heart of London.
The Serpentine Gallery Pavilion series, now entering its ninth year, brings the best contemporary architecture to London for millions of visitors and park users to enjoy. This year’s pavilion will be a highly articulated structure, designed and engineered in collaboration with Arup, where timber and glass soar and swoop to create a dramatic multi-dimensional space.
