We've joined the YouTube generation

It's not quite 15 minutes, but we have our moment of fame on YouTube.

Following completion of Frank Gehry's Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, a time lapse video of the construction process can be seen on both the Serpentine Gallery website and on YouTube.

There must have been mixed emotions last week as our project team handed over this year's Serpentine Gallery Pavilion.  After all, it's not every day you get to work on a Frank Gehry project. 

Tim Peach, managing director commented "I'm really proud of what we've achieved on such a challenging project..."

Raising the frame

A major milestone is reached on the eagerly awaited Pavilion as the first part of the structure is lifted into position

Canopies swoop into place

The glass canopies have been successfully lifted into place - creating a multidimensional ceiling for Frank Gehry's articulated structure.

About the Pavilion

The project will be the first building designed by architect Frank Gehry to be built in England.  The temporary pavilion, designed in collaboration with Arup, will serve both as a public space and performance arena.
