Taylor Woodrow refines customer focus approach

Jun 19 2008

Taylor Woodrow has restructured to reinforce its commitment to place its customers at the heart of the organisation.  Tim Peach, Managing Director, commented: -

“As part of our journey towards excellence, we continually seek to improve the service we provide to our customers. Our new structure will help us to bring greater value to our customers whilst ensuring the highest standards of delivery”.

The Board is now structured around Customer Relationships (Brendan Morahan), Project Delivery (Richard Sykes) and Financial Management (George Restall).

The Directors of the business will be joined by key areas of the business to form an Executive Committee to lead the implementation of the strategy and drive the business forward.

Douglas Weston, Business Development Director, is leaving to pursue a new career opportunity overseas, and after 31 years with Taylor Woodrow, Gerald Slack, Operations Director is leaving to spend time with his family in north England.

Gerald Slack commented:-

“It’s rewarding to leave the company in such a strong position, but a personal wrench after spending so many happy years with Taylor Woodrow. I fully intend to stay in contact with the many friends I have made and wish Taylor Woodrow good luck in the future”.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Gerald Slack and Douglas Weston for the part they have played in helping to shape the business.

With a record forward order book and a culture to strive for excellence, Taylor Woodrow is well positioned to successfully achieve their business objectives.
