Scaling three mountains to raise funds for charity, our teams successfully completed the 3 Peaks Challenge again last weekend.
The COINS 3 Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in the UK: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, in under 24 hours.
As if that wasn't enough, our teams set themselves a challenge to raise record funds for the charities concerned, namely CARE International, Habitat for Humanity and CURE.
All this wouldn't have been achieved without the help and commitment of a few special people and companies who helped our teams raise over £15,000, either through sponsorship or support.
Our event banner (see images) shows many of the companies who sponsored us. Others are shown on the event fundraising web site.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone for helping us achieve such an excellent fundraising total.
The COINS 3 Peaks Challenge proved to be another enormous success for the construction industry, with 49 construction teams pledging more than £430,000.00, smashing the 2007 fundraising record and bringing the event total to £1.63million.
