Nov 11 2008

Taylor Woodrow have confirmed they will be sponsoring the Sheffield Children's Festival for a third year.

Taylor Woodrow's Colin Beresford, Local Education Partnership General Manager, said: "We are delighted to support the children's festival for another year. Self esteem, enterprise and innovation are values we hope the students will embrace during the festival and put their own creative spin on what space means to them."

Cllr Sylvia Dunkley, Cabinet member for Culture, Leisure and Streetscene, said: "The Children's Festival, now in its 17th year, looks set to be another creative, unusual and imaginative event which can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is great that Taylor Woodrow have confirmed their sponsorship for another year, and it means the team can get started with organising the events."

It offers more than 20,000 children and young people from over 130 schools in Sheffield the opportunity to develop their creativity in learning and to take part in cultural activities.
