Mar 1 2008

Taylor Woodrow has been awarded a contract to provide facilities management services for the Government Offices. The win is the company’s third success under the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) Property and Facilities Management Services Framework.

The Government Offices is part of the Department of Communities and Local Government, which sets UK policy on local government, housing, urban regeneration, planning and fire and rescue.

This three year contract, with an optional extension for a further two years, has a potential value of over £6 million and will commence on 1 April 2008. It will see Taylor Woodrow provide a total FM solution, including maintenance, cleaning, security, vending and postal services at GO’s Newcastle, Nottingham, Guildford and Plymouth offices. TW will deliver the contract with its Strategic Alliance Partners, OCS and Integral.

Graham Evill, customer director for Taylor Woodrow FM’s government sector, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious contract, our third win under the OGC Framework. It further demonstrates the value that our clients place on integrated service solutions.”
