New FM Operations Director

Our Facilities Management business has appointed Nick Shaw as its new Operations Director.

Part of Nick’s challenge will be to ensure market leading delivery in support of our plan to grow the business by more than 65% over the next three years. Key to the growth plan is to maintain our current high levels of customer service and retention as our portfolio expands.

Richard Sykes, the Executive Board Director responsible for the FM business said: "Nick’s appointment is an important step in ensuring we consistently deliver to our rapidly growing portfolio of blue chip customers and is a real asset to our business".

We currently have facilities management responsibility for over 2,000 retail outlets across the UK, Ireland and extending into Europe, holding a strong customer base with many blue chip and global brands, including Chevron Texaco, Total, Nationwide, AXA, Dixons, O2, House of Fraser and the Office of Government Commerce.

Nick has been with the company for 20 years. His strengths lie in a proven delivery across a wide range of products and customer service. Most recently, he headed up our Retail sector and worked directly with Tesco, developing a 25 year relationship into a framework agreement that is forecast to deliver over £100 million of business this year.
