During last summer I took part in the Half Moon ‘Moonwalk’ in aid of breast cancer research.  At midnight, we started our 13 mile walk around London along with thousands of others.  It was a fantastic event and felt wonderful to see so many people missing out on a good night’s sleep for this cause.  My mum and I took part together.  We had a good chat as we walked around the streets of London, taking in the sights.  Tower Bridge lit up at night looked beautiful, and we were happy to see it, because it meant that we were more than half way to the finish.  We really enjoyed the evening, and felt a great sense of achievement.
