Bristol Harbourside 9 consists of the design and construction of a 272 unit multi-storey residential complex for Crest Nicholson (South West) Limited. The building is subdivided into 7 separate residential cores and has 3 ground floor level self-contained units designed for commercial use.

It is constructed on a brownfield site adjacent to the historic Bristol Harbour. The existing ground conditions and proximity to water resulted in a complex design solution for the building foundations and the basement car park, which sits below the anticipated 1 in 200 year flood level.

Taylor Woodrow are fitting out one of these residential cores (62 apartments) and constructing the ‘shell & core’ of the remaining cores. This offers our client a degree of flexibility on how subsequent residential cores are fitted out dependant upon market conditions.

Externally, we are responsible for the public open spaces, which include a green roof construction over the basement car park, and the provision of public and private access marine pontoons in the adjacent harbour, along with extensive hard landscaping works to the perimeter.
