Paradigm, a consortium led by Taylor Woodrow has been appointed to the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme in Sheffield.
The first stage of the initiative involves the construction of new secondary schools at Silverdale, Yewlands, Newfield and Talbot Special Educational Needs (SEN) School.
The refurbishment of High Storrs, a grade II listed building, which has Performing Arts
School status is also a part of phase 1.

The scheme will provide environments that will inspire learning and deliver sustainable solutions to benefit of the local community. Paradigm is a group of specialist companies including: Taylor Woodrow, Civica, BDP and HLM Architects, Faber Maunsell, and HSBC. In addition to undertaking the construction, we will undertake maintenance and lifecycle replacement works over a period of 30 years.

A pathfinder in the national Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme the £ 320 million investment means that every secondary school in the city will have been rebuilt or radically refurbished by 2015, to serve a projected population of 25,479 pupils.
