Alex, Assistant Bids Manager

I was one of the first people to work in our Facilities Management business, working on everything from military bases and hospitals to call centres and petrol stations!

It was a challenge because everything was new, but I enjoyed it because we really were making a difference. It has moved on dramatically since those early days and now it is a core part of our business.

Recently I was mobilised from the Territorial Army to work overseas for 6 months. Taylor Woodrow supported me wholeheartedly and I kept in touch with all my colleagues back home.

I enjoy being in the TA because it is whole new set of challenges, and I spend around one weekend each month training with them. I am a Company Commander, responsible for the leadership and training of around 100 men and women.
