Lucy
Civil Engineer
Taylor Woodrow have offered me a comprehensive range of development since sponsoring me for a civil engineering degree, including participation in their Graduate development programme, which along with practical assistance has assisted me in achieving ICE chartered status.
I enjoyed working on the Kings Cross underground redevelopment project as a graduate and I was assigned to the main Ticket Hall team, demolishing and rebuilding it whilst tens of thousands of commuters continued to use the facility.
I am currently a Deputy Project Manager in the rail team and manage a section of works of three sites on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) enhancement project, including a new build station, station extension and demolition of an existing station – all whilst DLR continues to operate.
The massive redevelopment at King's Cross station has reached a key milestone as Network Rail announced its preferred bidder for the western concourse is Taylor Woodrow.
