Supporting Communities

Community support - in addition to financial support we also sustain communities by sharing expertise or knowledge; bringing benefits to both Taylor Woodrow and the local communities that we engage with.

On all our projects, we are working hard to be good neighbours not only by being considerate but also by taking part in and supporting local activities.

As an Associate Member of the Considerate Constructor’s Scheme, we are committed to registering all of our construction sites.  Sites registered with the scheme are monitored by experienced industry professionals to assess their performance.

Three main areas are covered:

• Environment – working in an environmentally conscious, sustainable manner;
• Workforce – clean appropriate facilities for the workforce;
• and the Public – a positive impact on those they affect.

External recognition of our commitment to being a good neighbour has come in the form of Considerate Constructors awards – which we have been awarded every year since 2002.
